The first video was a touching story to my heart. We met this family, and Lenny is 15 years old with autism but deaf and mute. What a coincidence his mom coincidence that his mom name is Carmen. It made Ramon and I sad to see him have to share a tablet with his other sibling, mom and dad could not afford buying his own. That is when I decided to do a video asking for funding to buy her son an iPad. When we returned to Florida, I never had the chance to share the video to my social media. Some months forward, my husband had to return to DR, he remembered the iPad, so we went to buy him one, but it was not an iPad , it was a regular tablet. My husband arrived to DR and went to Lenny's house to give him the gif, he unwrapped it with his dad meanwhile Ramon recored his reaction.
He looked at that tablet like it was gold, and his appreciation was priceless. When I saw the video it brought tears, because I felt like wow how grateful he was and it wasn't an iPad, just a regular tablet. I meditated and thought how many parents want to buy the most expensive gifts, brands, the latest technology , and it's not teaching them humility. There is a Bible verse that says something like it's better to feast with little on the table than to have a big feast and have a miserable home.
